A RISD graduate, Tim Hussey has been an art director for over 25 years. Starting out as a set designer for MTV, he soon established an illustration career, making art for clients ranging from The New York Times and Rolling Stone to Ogilvy & Mather and Sony. Late nights, he taught himself graphic design by sneaking into Harpers Bazaar and mimicking Rolling Stone layouts with the help of his buddy ArturoIn ‘96, Tim landed his first publication design job at Musician magazine where he met his mentor, Robin, who helped set his high standard for detail and nuance. He went on to design and art direct for studios and publications including GQ, Number Seventeen, Outside magazine, Esquire UK, Men's Health and the premier issue of Garden & Gun. Tim’s first love being photography, he has been a regular staff and freelance contributor throughout most of his career. Both an image creator and designer, he navigates editorial design, branding and marketing with the heart of a storyteller, always striving to shed some light on the human experience. Incidentally, he developed a  fine art career during bathroom breaks. Tim currently lives with his baby girls and wife in Charleston, SC.
